Modlin paralysed — flights cancelled, CEO reveals the reasons

Canceled flights at Warsaw/Modlin Airport caused major disruptions for passengers. In an interview with RDC, the airport's president explains the reasons and reports on corrective actions.

A large number of flights from Warsaw/Modlin Airport were canceled today, which paralyzed passenger traffic and caused long queues at service points. Passengers report chaos and difficulties when trying to rebook tickets.

Reasons for disruptions

The president of the airport in an interview with Radio dla Ciebie (RDC) explained that the disruptions are related to the consequences of an international incident:

• According to his words, the effects of the attack on Iran, reported by the media, mostly affected flight operations handled by Modlin.
• He added that the situation is being monitored on an ongoing basis.

Assistance for travelers

Airport services and airline representatives are working on-site, trying to help passengers by:

1. Booking alternative connections.
2. Providing current information.
3. Providing basic care.

The airport encourages travelers to contact the carriers' customer service offices and follow announcements on official channels.

Next steps
