Key terminal changes

The most important undertaking will be the expansion of the passenger terminal:

• a new part of the departures and arrivals hall will be built,
• the number of boarding gates and baggage belts will increase,
• and the check-in area will be rebuilt to handle significantly higher passenger traffic.

Infrastructure modernization and new amenities

The project also includes modernization of the technical and commercial facilities — expansion of commercial and gastronomic zones, new premium lounges, and amenities for travelers with reduced mobility. There are also plans to expand parking lots and improve road connections and public transport to the city center.

Ecology and technology

Strong emphasis is placed on ecological solutions and modern technologies:

• energy-saving installations,
• water recovery systems,
• photovoltaic panels on roofs,
• and digital passenger information systems and automation of security control processes.

What does this mean for passengers?

The works are to be carried out in stages in the coming months, minimizing disruption to travelers. After completion of the work, the port will gain greater capacity, new connections, and a higher standard of service, and the investment will also contribute to the creation of jobs in the region.
